How it works
Selling on MotoBajar, step by step
Create your account
Your name, email, a Bangladeshi mobile number and a password. Buyers will call you on that number.
Post your ad
Brand, model, year, price, papers and your district, plus photos and, if you like, a short video.
Talk to buyers
Buyers call, WhatsApp or message you. Meet, let them inspect it, and take the payment yourself.
What to have ready
- Photos: up to 6, in JPG, PNG or WebP. Large photos are shrunk on your phone before they upload.
- A video if you like: one clip of up to 60 seconds, in MP4, MOV or WebM.
- Papers status: all papers clear, tax token expired, or papers incomplete.
- Ownership: 1st hand if you are the first owner, otherwise 2nd hand, 3rd hand and so on.
- Your asking price, and whether it is negotiable.
How long your ad stays up
- Your ad stays live for 60 days.
- We remind you 5 days before it ends, and you renew it in one tap from My Ads.
- Change the price, photos or details any time, also from My Ads.
- Sold it? Mark it as sold so buyers stop calling.
How buyers reach you
Call and WhatsApp
Both buttons sit on your ad and use your mobile number. Ads listed under a shop show the shop's numbers instead.
Messages on MotoBajar
Buyers who are logged in can message you, and you reply from Messages.
Paid directly to you
The buyer pays you, in cash or however you agree. MotoBajar never handles the money and takes no commission on vehicle sales.

- Meet buyers in a busy public place, in daylight, and bring a friend if you can.
- Hand over the papers and the keys only after the full payment is in your hand.
- Watch for fake bKash payment SMS. Check your bKash app or balance before you count any payment as received.
- Never share an OTP or your bKash PIN with anyone. Nobody needs them to pay you.

How much does it cost to sell my bike on MotoBajar?
Posting a bike or car ad is free. MotoBajar takes no commission when your vehicle sells, and boosting the ad (৳200 for 7 days) is optional.
Does my ad go live straight away?
Usually, yes: most ads go live the moment you post them. If our automatic checks flag an ad, our team reviews it before it goes live, and we let you know.
Do I need an account to post an ad?
Yes, a free one. Sign up with your name, email, a Bangladeshi mobile number and a password. The number is shown on your ads so buyers can call or WhatsApp you.
Can I sell a car, or sell as a shop?
Yes to both. Cars use the same form: choose Car at the top. Shop owners can open a free storefront and list ads under the shop, with the shop's phone numbers on them.
Where will buyers see my ad?
On the Bikes or Cars pages and in search, where buyers filter by brand, budget and district. Every ad also gets its own page with a link you can share, for example in your Facebook bike group.
What are the rules for an ad?
List only a vehicle you own or are allowed to sell, use your own recent photos of it, post each vehicle once, and don't ask buyers for advance or booking money before they have seen it. Ads that break the rules can be removed.
